Music Scholarship Competition

The Seminole Theatre Music Scholarship Competition is open to all high-level Classical instrumental music students, 18 and under, who haven't graduated high school yet in Miami-Dade County OR who participate in a Miami-Dade County Musical Program, such as Youth Orchestra, that satisfies the repertoire requirements for the competition.

1st Prize - $1000

2nd Prize - $800

3rd Prize - $600

Honorable Mention - $400

All students must be available for both dates below

Application Fee: $25.00

Application Deadeline: May 5, 2025

Audition Date: May 12, 2025 - 4pm - 8pm

Winners Showcase: May 27, 2025 - 6pm - 9pm

The Historic Seminole Theatre

18 N. Krome Avenue, Homestead, FL  33030

If selected as one of the prize winners, you will be required to perform at the Seminole Theatre Music Scholarship Showcase Dinner on

May 27, 2025 at the Seminole Theater in Homestead at 6pm. 

ONLY students who are available to play in the showcase may audition.  Accompanists will be required at the showcase but not at the audition, although you are welcome to bring one to the audition if you like.  If you have any questions, please email TonyEMF@aol.com.

The non-refundable Application Fee may be paid by cash, check or credit card via the link below. (Checks should be made out to S.C.A.T.I.) Fee is required by check-in, on the day of your audition.
